Listen to the Norton Anthology online
January 16, 2007
Are you enrolled in a music history course that requires listening to music referenced in the Norton Anthology of Music? Look no further than the Classical Music Library. There you will find a themed playlist for the Norton Anthology of Music. The playlist is not complete. However, it does list for each NAM volume and chapter recordings that are found in the Classical Music Library’s collection. These playlists are listed under “Tools.” The Norton Anthology of Music is titled the “Companion to Grout.”
You will also find themed playlists for related music textbooks such as Bonds, Stolba, Burkhart and many others. Required listening is now just a click away.

Now you get all the cool toys to make things easier…. I don’t know how many times I had to search hi and low for some of those hidden NAM tracks!
