Darius Milhaud competition

Since 1994, a yearly competition has been held at the CIM honoring the works of Darius Milhaud. This year’s Performance Prize Competition will be held at CIM on Saturday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Duo pianists perform Bach, Borodin, Debussy & Rachmaninoff

On March 18th, CIM preparatory faculty members, Sean Shulze & Derek Nishimura, will give a recital featuring duo piano music. Perhaps they will inspire you to explore this repertoire. Here are a list of the scores & recordings the CIM library holds from their program.

Guitar weekend

March 9-11th is Guitar Weekend at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Artists such Paul O’Dette, Duo Melis, Xuefei Yang, and Jason Vieaux will perform during this festival sponsored by Guitar International.
