Renovation update

We are observing the demolition of the library this week.  Last week they removed all the wooden shelving, some walls, and the circulation desk (which at one point was sawed in half).   A walk by the library this morning revealed completely exposed ceilings and floors.  They are removing the floor tiles today.  We can hear the pounding and sledge hammers all the way across the building.

We do not have access to the interior.  We are hoping to arrange a walk through at some point.   I’ll have my camera on hand and post photos.
