A preview of Mixon Hall

Mixon Hall

Our latest library tour features photos of the Mixon Performance Hall. We enjoyed walking through this beautiful building and seeing the lobby, performance hall and lower level. It is really taking shape. This weeks photos feature pictures of both the interior and exterior of this stunning building.

The big news this week for the library renovation was the arrival of the GemTrack Compact Shelving. These units will provide shelving for our audio-visual materials in the Media Center.

We also are happy to announce that the library renovation is on schedule! We are so thankful for the excellent Donley crew.

  1. Could anyone inform me if the library is available for exchange students from abroad like me?

  2. As a private institution, the library serves currently enrolled conservatory students, preparatory and continuing education students and the staff and faculty of the Cleveland Institute of Music. We also provide borrowing services to alumni of the Institute of Music and to Cleveland Orchestra members.

If you are associated with a local college or university, you may work with their library to obtain materials not held by them through Interlibrary loan.

We also highly recommend exploring the Cleveland Public Library and the Cuyahoga County Public Library whose services you may use while living in the Cleveland area.
