Where do I find CDs & DVDs?

Walking through the main level of the Robinson Music Library, many have noticed the absence of our media collection; CDs, DVDs, videorecordings and our CIM performance collection. All these materials have been moved to the Robinson Library’s Media Center. This is located on the lower level beneath the south side (entrance) of the library.

In the near future the stairwell within the library will be open to access the media center. However, until it is completed, the Media Center is accessible from an entrance on the lower level (down the hall from the Mailroom).

If you have not visited the Media Center, please take a moment to stop by for a tour. There are 24 viewing stations where you can view/listen to our extensive media collection. Six computers provided dedicated access to our digital streaming services. Two Group Listening rooms provide seating for 4-6 people and contain a 38 LCD screen and DVD player.

The Media Center is open when the library is open. Hours today are 9 am to 5 pm. The Library will be closed for Labor Day Weekend. The library will resume regular academic hours on Tuesday, September 4th.

Photos of the Media Center have just been posted to the library’s Flickr pages.
